A rotary encoder is comprised of an internal coded disc and a sensing head used to sense the rotary position. Encoders are used in all types of motion sensing applications, including machine tooling, semiconductor positioning and multi-axis positioning.

Dust and splash proofed with reinforced aluminum die-cast casing. A fﾓ8 mm strong stainless steel shaft for tough spindle withstanding large load.
Accurate gray code output.
Metal slit with shock resistance of 980 m/s2
(glass slit with 2048 type).

Resolution of up to 10 bits or 1024. Strong shaft that supports 100 N/radial and 50 N/thrust using a reinforced spindle.
